Case Study – Parmigiano Reggiano Restaurant Events

In 2012, Dialogue coordinated a large scale UK marketing project on behalf of our client, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. The project was funded by the Italian Ministry of Food and Agriculture. We worked with several highly renowned London restaurants including Theo Randall at the Intercontinental, Locanda Locatelli and Alloro to develop new dishes using Parmigiano Reggiano and to organise a series of high profile consumer and press events in the restaurants.

At the events, guests were invited to try special Parmigiano Reggiano themed menus, sample the different ages of the product and watch top chefs cooking with Parmigiano Reggiano themed menus, sample different ages of the product and watch top chefs cooking with Parmigiano Reggiano in live demos. The events were promoted before and after through the restaurants’ social media, newsletters and websites. Attendees included top chefs, journalists, bloggers, food specialists and members of the Guild of Food Writers and Craft Guild of Chefs. From our activities and events with the restaurants, we received widespread coverage across social media, print and online publications including chef Theo Randall’s video blog on The Huffington Post, with more than 3 million viewers.
